Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve Interpretive Hike
October 07, 2019
Join Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority Docent Ron Horii as he takes us on another of his Interpretive Hikes through Rancho Canada Del Oro Open Space Preserve. Discover and explore this beautiful preserve with a knowledgeable docent who will talk about the plants and wildlife found here.
The hike will be about 3 miles long with moderate elevation gain. We will be taking part of the Longwall Canyon Trail to part of the Mayfair Ranch Trail where it crosses Baldy Ryan Creek. The hike will go through a variety of environments with so lovely views.
Bring water, a snack, a camera, sunscreen, a hat and your sense of adventure! Be sure to wear sturdy shoes. There is a restroom in the parking lot on Casa Loma but none on the trail.
